Writing

Writing is more than to know where to put the 'once upon a time' and the 'they lived happily ever after'. It is to translate in words the thoughts and feelings that takes you to another place, another level, a space you wouldn't dare exploring in 'real life': the corners of your mind.

Writing is an intuitive way to express and get to know yourself by molding words to their best look to make your message understood. It is using your imagination on your behalf because you know it can take you as far as the infinite. In the end, it is just about putting on paper a good story, a great lesson...And if you dare, a matter of making other people read it.

'Dream on' is a classic by Aerosmith written by its lead vocalist, Steven Tyler ! This music has inspired many people all over the world since it was released in 1973. The lyrics have such a strong meaning and followed by its melody it is a perfect combination of emotions that takes over you.

Steven wrote 'Dream on, dream on, dream until your dream come true' and that's what I do, guess that's why I love this song so much. It is one of those that makes me feel good when everyhting seems to be falling apart, one of those songs that spread words we need to hear to give us the strength to go on.

This song reminds me of one specific day: I was about 7 years old and was in the car with my auntie. This song came on the radio, I just loved it. So asked her who sang it and what was it about since my poor english at the time couldn't understand more the 'Dream on'. When she broke the song apart for me, I just thought how wise however wrote the song is, I just thought that's how I should be too. And it has influenced me ever since.
